Chillicothe Utility Solar Farm
MC Power Companies and the city of Chillicothe worked on this project together to add benefit to the city and also help the citizens be greener. The city was also excited to keep with its city motto of “planning for the future” with renewable energy.
The Chillicothe, Missouri solar farm is 3.256 DC. There are 9,720 335w panels installed. The four inverters required are manufactured by Canadian Solar Panels. The two transformers required are Sunbelt units. The monitoring is performed thru fiber optics with help from Also Energy. The project was engineered, designed and constructed on time and within projected budget.
